Alicia and Paul’s wedding video // same day edit

When Alicia asked for her same day edit to be set to the live music performance during her entrance to the church I was a bit dubious at first.  Then she told me the performer was Jennifer Sawdon.  I have met her at a wedding previously and was extremely impressed with her voice so I visited her website to have a listen to her rendition of Eva cassady’s Songbird.  This was to be Alicia’s song for walking down the Aisle.

Well to be honest I pretty much had an out of body experience and thought that the emotion of this very powerful ballad was perfect for Alicia’s same day edit.  I only hoped I could pull it off.

I would have to get the live sound take pretty spot on if this was going to work and also needed footage of Jenny singing to reflect that it is live.

As I suspected would be the case, the emotion of the song got the better of Alicia and she shed a tear or two while actually walking down the aisle.

This was an ambitious same day edit, as usual I gave myself no time at all to do what ended up being quite a finicky edit.  Really hope Alicia and Paul enjoyed it and have a great honeymoon and future.  :-)

    Jeff,

We have just returned from a few days away and couldn’t wait to watch this again, it is even better than we remembered!!
Emotions were running high that day and you have captured these brilliantly (although watching myself walk down the aisle in tears is a tad embarrassing now!!)
We knew you would do an amazing job but once again we would like to thank yourself and Rich for your professionalism and attention to detail you showed on the day, we can’t wait to see the full movie now!!

    Paul and Alicia xx

Alicia and Pauls wedding was a lovely day and I think this same day edit catches it beautifully. I can’t wait to see the full wedding video, fantastic quality and very well put together. Will deffinately be keeping Jeff in mind for when I eventually get married! lol.

    Hi Jeff,

We have watched the full DVD several times and it gets better everytime we watch it!! There are so many bits on there that we forgot had happened and you have captured these perfectly. The end bit where everything is ‘backwards’ is fab, we can’t wait for our ‘wedding movie night’ next week with our friends and family.

Thank you once again for all your hard work, you really are one of the best at what you do!! xx
