Tellin’ Stories // an event film maker’s workshop

learn the language of film2

On Tuesday 18th November I will be presenting a one day workshop at the stunning Barnsley House in the Cotswolds.  The emphasis will be on story telling, this is a highly  popular and misused film maker’s  buzzword that doesn’t mean a great deal to many. To me it means actually learning the language of film so that you can manipulate the feelings of the viewer with intent and control; learning where the magic comes from.

If you are interested in attending then send me a message and I will invoice you directly.

The investment is £300 and this includes refreshments throughout the day and a three course lunch.  Breakfast will be available at the venue for £18 and many are meeting for a full English at 9am.  The presentation will start at 10am.

There will be a social evening after the presentation and all are welcome (even if you didn’t attend the workshop).  An evening bar buffet is yet to be conformed with Barnsley House.

There is a 30 seat mini cinema and delegates are invited to bring short films for review.  These must be on DVD or Blu-ray in order to play in the cinema.

Rooms in Barnsley House are offered for £297.00 per room per night, this includes full English breakfast, a £40.00 allowance to spend towards food for dinner and 1 x 25 minute spa treatment.  So if you want to learn, socialise and unwind all at the same time, this is for you.  There is also a Travelodge 3 miles away in Cirencester.
